About me

My love affair with India began at 19 on my first visit as a backpacker, sparking a deep fascination with its culture and traditions, and eventually leading to in-depth study of yogic philosophy and an immersive meditation practice.

Having undertaken extensive training – including advanced yoga teacher training (200-hour, 300-hour and Master Yoga Teacher Training), Yin Yoga Teacher Training, Yoga Therapy Training ,and immersive Sadhana Studies, my journey is one of continual growth. I travel to India yearly to refine my understanding and expand my teachings.

My offerings are holistic and integrative blending meditation, yoga, and one-on-one guidance to support personal growth. Through private sessions, group classes and Learn to Meditate courses, my intention is to share transformative practices that support balance, healing, and a deeper connection to life’s purpose.

What is Yoga Therapy?

Yoga Therapy offers a personalised and effective pathway to feeling better in your body, mind and overall wellbeing.

In these one-on-one sessions, you receive a tailored program designed specifically for your needs, combining therapeutic movement, targeted breathwork, meditation and simple lifestyle tools that support real, lasting change.

Whether you’re managing ongoing pain, recovering from an injury or looking to feel more emotionally balanced and resilient, Yoga Therapy meets you where you are and gives you practical strategies you can use every day.

With Shannon’s expertise and supportive guidance, you gain a clear plan, a compassionate space to grow, and the confidence to take charge of your health and vitality.

The Yoga Therapy Process

Yoga Therapy gives you the opportunity to take an active role in cultivating your wellbeing. Whether you have a chronic condition, recovering from injury or seeking emotional harmony, Yoga Therapy draws from the ancient wisdom of yoga to co-facilitate improved health and vitality.

Before the first session you shall complete a detailed intake form. This helps to understand the whole person, including - health history, lifestyle habits, diet and your goals and intentions.

Yoga Therapy is a collaborative approach where we co-create a personalised yoga therapy plan that is sustainable and able to create lasting change. We generally collaborate for a minimum of three sessions for maximum benefit.

Together, we set short and long term goals and build a realistic plan to support them.

This may include:

  • Sleep and daily nutrition adjustments

  • Stress management tools

  • Asana & Somatic Movement practices

  • Breathwork & Meditation

  • Mudra, Mantra & Mindful practices

Session 1: 90 minutes $180.00

Shannon teaches an integrated, holistic and profoundly transformative yoga practice. It is rooted in the Vedantic and Tantric traditions of the Himalayas. The practices go well beyond the yoga mat and include and infuse all areas and aspects of life.

This will be an intimate group travelling with the intention of journeying into the heart. Deepening your connection to self with like minded seekers. To see and experience the path of the yogis old and new and immerse yourself in authentic wisdom.

We shall begin our journey leading up to the retreat with guided personal practices and meditation to set heartfelt intentions heading to India.
